The German trip is a 2 week long academic exchange in collaboration with the German American Partnership Program (GAPP). On this trip you will travel to Germany with a selected group of your peers, where you will live with a German family for two weeks. While there you will truly be emerged into German culture including food, clothing, music, festivals, schools and weekend trips. There are days at the German school, trips to Munich and so many pretzels! You will prepare a presentation about a topic of your choice to present in German classes. As a whole group you will participate in a research project. Topics in the past have included “History in High School Curriculum” and “How Germany approaches immigration”.
“I was lucky enough to be a part of the exchange. During my time in Germany I made long lasting relationships with my host family, and made new friends with my peers. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I would recommend this trip to anyone who’s looking for adventure.” Ingrid Solsaa
