RHS New Student Information

Welcome to Rutland High School
Freshmen Orientation:
Freshmen begin the school year a day before the upperclassmen. This allows the students to meet classmates from other schools and become familiar with Rutland High School in a stress free environment. The students follow a modified class schedule for the day and are provided tours and time to find their lockers. Detailed information will be mailed to students near the end of the summer prior to entering Rutland High School.
High School Registration:
Registration is by appointment only. Students along with their Parent/Guardian should attend the registration appointment. Please call (802) 770-1093 for a registration appointment.
At the time of registration please have available:

  • Proof of residence: May include a tax bill or deed, current utility bill, or lease agreement if renting. A post office box is not sufficient proof of residence, a physical address is required.
  •  Original birth certificate
  •  Transcript from previous high school or latest report card
  •  Course recommendations if available
  •  Immunization records

For your convenience under the documents section of the guidance department website we have provided a PDF of the registration form and our free/reduced lunch application. Please print, complete, and bring these forms with you to your registration appointment
