RHS ANNOUNCEMENTS

June 13,  2018

Seniors:

Project Graduation will once again be held at the Pico Sports Center and will begin at 9pm following Graduation.  Those who attend are required to arrive no later than 11pm and we’ll wrap up at approximately 4am. The parent committee has done a great job of planning a fun night.  There will be a ton of food, lots of prizes, and plenty of money to give away and, we hope that all graduates will attend.

There is no cost to attend but, Pico does expect each student to submit a signed permission slip.  If you’re 18, you can sign the permission slip yourself. If you’re under 18, it must be signed by a parent.  A copy of the permission slip is attached to an email that has been sent to your school account and there will be copies available in the Main Office and Attendance Office.  Signed permission slips should be returned to the Main Office.

All current sophomores who have signed up for next year’s junior AP English Language and Composition class need to come by room Red-15 to pick up your summer assignment and receive instructions from Mr. French.  Assignments will be available before 9:00 a.m. and after 2:00 p.m. Thank you!

Summer Meal Program:

When school lets out, children can lose access to the school breakfasts, lunches, and afterschool snacks or meals they receive during the regular school year. Summer meal programs help fill this gap by providing free meals and snacks to children who might otherwise go hungry. Plus, summer meals are often paired with enrichment activities that keep kids active while they are receiving essential nutrition for their developing brains.
About the Event: This event is open to the public and will promote family fun, while educating families about the Summer Meals Program. We will offer food, ice cream, arts and crafts, bouncy house, face painting, music and more! All are welcome.
