Any student taking the SAT test this Saturday, May 5, you need to arrive at Rutland Middle School no later than 7:45. You will not be admitted without your admission ticket and a picture ID. Also please bring a calculator and two #2 pencils.

Tickets for Froshmore will be on sale at lunch this week! Tickets are $8 at lunch or $10 at the door. Froshmore will be held on May 5th, from 8-10pm at RHS. The theme is red and black


Wonderfeet KIds’ Museum is looking for volunteers to help at Rutland Regional Medical Center on Friday, June 1st for  a planting event. Prom 2018
Tickets will be sold from April 30th through May 11th during school lunches.  They will be $25 each.
Prom is at the Killington Grand on May 12th from 8PM until Midnight.  The theme is Under the Stars.

Norwich University will be running a Cyber Security and Cyber Defense Camp this summer from July 22-July 28, and an advanced cyber forensics camp from July 29-August 4 for students entering grades 11 and 12. The camp is free, but you have to apply to be accepted. Applications are due May 9. For more information, please stop by the school counseling office!

The Chaffee Art Center is pleased to host our 2018 Annual Student Art Exhibit. This exhibit highlights the work of over 300 students in Preschool through twelfth grade from over twenty regional schools.  Diversity of mediums, styles, and techniques is on display around every corner of our historic Chaffee building.

An artists reception will be held Friday, May 4, 4-7pm at the Chaffee Art Center, 16 South Main Street, Rutland, VT. Snacks, beverages and musical performances.

Chaffee Art Center Hours during the Student Show Exhibit:
Monday – Friday  10am – 5pm
Saturday 9am – 3pm

Stop by the Guidance Office and pick up a few pamphlets that the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation has provided.   The 2018-2019 Grant Application pamphlet, Financial Aid as well as My Educational Loans pamphlets. These can also be viewed online at www.vsac.org


Seniors:  Once you make your post graduation decision either attending college, military service or employment, please stop by the Guidance Office and complete the Senior Information Survey.  This is especially important for those of you who are continuing on to college, your guidance counselor will need to know where to send your final high school transcript.



There are no yearbooks left to preorder.  If you still want a yearbook, you will need to purchase one from any possible leftovers when they come in.  Seniors will be given first priority.
