Rutland High School students participate in the Year End Studies (YES) Plan. This is a two-week intensive study of one specific topic, in this case, the aquatic ecology of Vermont's rivers and streams. YES Plan is one of the many unique opportunities available to RHS students.
Rutland High School students participate in the Year End Studies (YES) Plan. This is a two-week intensive study of one specific topic, in this case, the aquatic ecology of Vermont's rivers and streams. Students can also participate in community-based internships, put on a musical production, or do physical computing and robotics. YES, Plan is one of the many unique opportunities available to RHS students.

Rutland High School students traveled to Japan as a part of the Rutland- Ishidoriya Student Exchange (RISE) program.
Rutland High School students traveled to Japan as a part of the Rutland- Ishidoriya Student Exchange (RISE) program. This partnership with our sister city is over 30 years old and affords Rutland students the opportunity to travel as well as to host a visiting student from Japan. Rutland students have also had the opportunity to participate in school-sponsored trips to Germany, Spain, and we've just established a new partnership with a school in India. Rutland students are world travelers.
