Principal Greg Schillinger
Greg Schillinger joined the administrative team at Rutland High School in 2014 and is primarily responsible for issues related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Prior to his arrival, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English and Secondary Education from The Catholic University of America and his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Castleton State. He started his teaching career as a volunteer teacher in Spanish Harlem and then on to schools in Hawaii and Vermont. His longest stint was seventeen years at Woodstock Union HS where he served as English teacher, Associate Principal, and then Principal. He is a long-time resident of Rutland and when he’s not at school he is driving one of his four children to an athletic event.
