Principal Greg Schillinger

Greg Schillinger joined the administrative team at Rutland High School in 2014. Prior to his arrival, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English and Secondary Education from The Catholic University of America and his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Castleton State. He started his teaching career as a volunteer teacher in Spanish Harlem and then on to schools in Hawaii and Vermont. His longest stint was seventeen years at Woodstock Union HS where he served as English teacher, Associate Principal, and then Principal. He is a long-time resident of Rutland and when he’s not at school he is driving one of his four children to an athletic event.
Associate Principal Brett Lertola

Brett Lertola first began working at Rutland High School in 2014 as a mathematics teacher. Over the next several years, he held several teacher-leader positions including mathematics department chair, action plan committee chair, and was a co-chair for Rutland’s NEASC accreditation in 2019. He briefly served as an interim Associate Principal at RHS in 2022. In 2024, Brett assumed the full-time Associate Principal role at RHS. He is mainly responsible for issues related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Brett graduated from Castleton University with a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a Master’s degree in Education. He has also completed extensive coursework in Educational Leadership.
Associate Principal Tiffini Marano

With over 21 years of experience in education, Tiffini Marano brings a strong commitment to inclusive learning and student success to her role as Associate Principal at Rutland High School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Radford University in Virginia. After moving to Vermont in 2010, she spent 12 years at Rutland Intermediate School serving as a special educator and team leader.
Most recently, she served as Coordinator for Student Services at Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union for three years before returning to Rutland City Schools. She holds both a Principal and a Director of Special Education license from Castleton University. A Rutland City resident for 15 years, she is proud to return and serve the community she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her son, Lincoln, and their two dogs, Peak and Havoc.
Associate Principal Jennifer Wigmore

Jennifer Wigmore joined the Rutland City Public Schools in 2008 as a school guidance counselor. She spent her last five years in the department as the Director of Guidance. Prior to becoming a counselor, she taught at the elementary and middle school levels. Jen has a Master of Arts degree in teaching as well as extensive advanced course work in Educational Administration, Special Education and Counseling from Castleton University and Southern New Hampshire University. She earned an undergraduate degree in business from The University of New Hampshire. The primary responsibilities for Jennifer will be all aspects of Special Education and related support services. She is a long time resident of Rutland City and with her husband Tim have raised four boys, all graduates of Rutland High School.
