Bill Olsen became Principal at Rutland High School in 2009. He taught social studies for sixteen years in Austria, Connecticut, Barstow Memorial School and Rutland High School. He was the Assistant Principal at Rutland Middle School for four years. He has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Administration from Castleton State College, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Boston College, and a Bachelors of Arts from Holy Cross College.

Larry Lattanzzi has been at Rutland High School for over ten years. In his role as Associate Principal, he’s responsible fo the daily operations of the school which includes: student discipline, evaluations and supervision, attendance procedures, 12th grade liaison and Educational Support Team Coordinator. In 2002 he was honored by his peers when named the Vermont Associate Principal of the year. Larry received a B.S. from the University of Nebraska and an M.S. from Southern Connecticut, both in education. He has also done additional graduate work at UVM. He began his career in Bedford, N.Y. as the Superintendent of Recreation, Parks and Human Services. In 1983 he moved to Vermont and began teaching. He has also coached Girls Varsity Soccer, Basketball and Baseball. At Woodstock Union high School, Larry was Athletic Director, Dean of Students and Principal.

Andrea McQuade was born in Boston and grew up in western Massachusetts. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Washington, DC and a Master’s in Education from the University of Washington in Seattle. While attending Trinity College, she worked for the Athletic/Guidance Director of a local all boys’ high school and became interested in special needs children. Andrea has taught in Special Education programs at the elementary, middle and high school level in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. She has also taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Special Education, as well as supervises student teachers. She has lived in the Rutland area since 1978. Her responsibilities at Rutland High School include the support services programs for students, supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff, general administrative duties and the Parent Partners program.

Glenn Olson was born in Winchester, Massachusetts and is a 1983 graduate of Gordon College in Wenham, Mass. After graduation he moved to Swanton, Vermont where he taught at Missisquoi Valley Union High School for 5 years before moving to Rutland in 1988. He began his career at Rutland High School in 1988 teaching physical education and coaching varsity ice hockey. Glenn has served as the Assistant Athletic Director for two years, Athletic/Activities Director for 11 years and is in his 10th year as an Associate Principal. Glenn’s primary responsibilities focus on curriculum, instruction, assessment, and scheduling.
