RHS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Juniors and Seniors – VSAC will host a Paying for College Night on May 1 at 6:00 in the lecture hall.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the college financial aid process. Our VSAC outreach coordinator will present and allow time following the presentation for general questions.  Students and their families are welcome.

 

If you are still interested in applying to Stafford for next year it’s not too late! Please talk to your counselor if you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit!

 

YES Plan – Students on stage – The Hobbit – First rehearsal – Tuesday – 5-8 in the theater. Rehearsals  for the rest of the week – Wed., Thursday and Friday – 5-8. Everyone is expected to attend. See Mrs. Archer and/or Evan with conflicts.

 

Petitions are available in the Main Office for Class Officer elections!  Get involved in your school! Remember, even if you currently hold an office, you need to be reelected.  If you have any questions, please see your class advisors, or Mr. Aday (Red 15) or Mrs. Haskell (White 15)

 

Students:  You run the risk of getting a ticket if you park on campus without a parking permit

 

CCV is having an information night coming up.  Topics include: Direct Admissions, Dual Enrollment, Early College, and college pathways

FINE ARTS:

-Mandatory Encore Meeting on Monday April 9- 3:30 – We will be discussing producers for next year, the New Hampshire festival and the talent show.

– Improv and snacks – come to the theatre on April 11th from 3:30-5:00 for snacks and Improv games.
– If you are planning to attend the ITS festival in New Hampshire on April 21st, please sign up on Mrs. Archer’s door, ASAP.

SENIORS AND JUNIORS:  Do You Want to Win a Car?

The Drive 4 Excellence contest sponsored by Burlington Hyundai & Subaru is currently OPEN!

Online registration can be located at www.burlingtoncars.com.  Deadline to register and to submit your report card is April 30, 2018.  After this date, 75 finalists will be selected and notified by May 5, 2018.  If you are one of the finalists you must be present to win either a pre-selected 2018 Subaru Impreza or 2018 Hyundai Elantra.  Further details can be found on the website as well as in the Guidance Office.


SENIORS:

Stop by the Guidance Office and pick up a few pamphlets that the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation has provided.   The 2018-2019 Grant Application pamphlet, Financial Aid as well as My Educational Loans pamphlets. These can also be viewed online at www.vsac.org

 

YEARBOOK:

Parent ads are sold out.

There are no yearbooks left to preorder.  If you still want a yearbook, you will need to purchase one from any possible leftovers when they come in.  Seniors will be given first priority.
