Attention Juniors! Registration for next year’s classes will run from Tuesday, January 16-Friday, January 26. You will receive an email from your counselor with your appointment date and time. Please see your counselor if the time does not work for you.
The Freshman class of 2021 is selling Rutland Raider T-shirts. You can purchase short sleeve ($10) or long sleeve ($13) with your class year printed on the back. There is also an option of just getting a plain back if you are not part of a particular class ($8.50/$11.50). Orders can be placed on the online webstore at the following link:

Executive Board and Environmental Club are partnering and SELLING REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES with RHS logos on them for $12. The purpose of these water bottles is to eliminate waste from plastic water bottles that get thrown away! They will available starting on Friday 1/19/18 in front of the cafeteria during lunches, where you can purchase and pick them up.
Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Mr. McDonough is offering a special English course next year on Shakespeare and Politics. We’ll look at how Shakespeare’s plays deal with the same issues of race, gender, religion, and justice that we deal with today. Plenty of classroom reading and discussion, and no major essays! See guidance to sign up!
For the Class of 2022, save the date of Thursday, January 11, 2018 for our Incoming Freshman Information Night beginning at 6pm at RHS. Small group presentations on academic programs, the ninth grade registration process, extra-curricular opportunities and tours of the building will be all part of this very informative evening.
– Auditions for the one act – The Stallion Howl and for a play to be performed at Relay for Life – are Jan. 8th from 7-9. You must have participated in the fall production to be considered for a part or to be a designer. Auditions for the relay for life play are open to everyone. Everyone who plans to be involved in this production must attend the auditions on the 8th.

Online registration can be located at www.burlingtoncars.com. Deadline to register and to submit your report card is April 30, 2018. After this date, 75 finalists will be selected and notified by May 5, 2018. If you are one of the finalists you must be present to win either a pre-selected 2018 Subaru Impreza or 2018 Hyundai Elantra.
