Please save the date, Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 6:30 PM for our annual Winter Open House. Parents will have the opportunity to follow a modified student schedule of classes. You will be able to meet your child’s teachers, as well as get an overview of course offerings and expectations. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday night. This Tuesday, December 21, members of the Rutland City Schools community will participate in the Gift-of-Life Marathon Blood Drive that will take place at the Paramount Theater from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

RHS Math Teacher Jay Wilson was honored recently at the 2010 University of Vermont Outstanding Teacher Day.

The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History awards the National History Teacher of the Year title each year in its effort to promote the study and love of American history.

NECAP state assessments begin October 5 and continue until October 14….

RHS will have a delayed start every Wednesday beginning September 8. Students do not have to be in the building until their first period class. Our A-Block begins on Wednesdays at 8:50. Dismissal is as usual at 3:05. This applies only to Wednesdays during the regular academic year.
