RHS offers students the opportunity to get real world experience in a variety of fields through the DUO program. We currently have openings in the following areas. Please contact your guidance counselor (770-1093) if you are interested.

Technology Assistant (DUO)

This position offers students the opportunity to work closely with the district’s computer technicians assisting with basic technology issues.  An understanding and background in the use of various forms of technology is required. Students will receive .5 credit per quarter.

Audio/Visual Technology Assistant (DUO)

This class offers students the opportunity to work closely with classroom teachers assisting with a variety of audio/visual issues.  An understanding and background in the use of TV/VCR/DVD, and LCD projectors is required.  Students will receive .5 credit per quarter.

Peer Tutor (DUO)

Peer Tutors serve as assistants to teachers who supervise Tutorial and Study Assistance rooms.  A strong academic background, good communication skills, and an interest in helping other students are required.  Students will receive .5 credit per quarter.

Website Writer (DUO)

Writers serve as an assistant to the staff member who maintains the school’s website. Writers research and write about topics, events, and news happening in and around the school. Strong writing skills and the ability to work independently are required.  Students will receive .5 credit per quarter.
