RHS Varsity Baseball helps RHS Science Teacher Deb Hathaway clean up after lightning destroyed her barn.

Rutland High’s Varsity Baseball and Lacrosse teams gave a Sunday afternoon during April Vacation to help one of their favorite teachers, science teacher Deb Hathaway. Mrs. Hathaway’s barn caught fire in a lightning storm a few days prior to vacation. The barn was destroyed, but all her horses survived. The teams arrived on the weekend to help clean up. Thanks to Coaches Kevin Bellomo and Mike Rowe for organizing the troops, and to the parents and science teacher Mr. Gilbert who joined in.
